In dreapta mea - buza padurii, in stanga - cateva gradini.

The end.

Journey to Po Toi Island.

Last Sunday would’ve been a good day for science (learning mandarin). But I raised my eyes and there was the beautiful sun shining. Even though we left early (10:00 am) it was already late (12:00 am) when  Laurencio ‘informed’ us we had missed the ferry. Yeah… Perhaps it was because of the the HK marathon road block. Or maybe because of Laurencio’s precise timing. Anyway…  I knew it’s worth waiting for the ferry which would later take us to “The End of Hong Kong”. And I rushed to McDonald’s to grab a strawberry Sundae – the best in the world.

3 hours later, my head was lolling on the wooden wall of the captain’s cabin. I was right there on the deck, feeling the wind blowing through my hair. That’s wild. Wait till u see the island – that’s also wild, since I guess there are not more than 20 people living there. It’s a nice place for hiking, but hey! Don’t get to enthusiastic, there are concrete alleys all over the island. :P It won’t take long to reach the southernmost point of HK. Once u’re there, you can just sit on the rocks and gaze at the Pacific. And watch the waves approaching the coast. And smile.

I uploaded some pics here.
